In this video I review the standard form equations of the 6 types of quadric 3D surfaces: ellipsoid, cone, elliptic paraboloid, hyperboloid of one sheet, hyperbolic paraboloid, and hyperboloid of two sheets. For each quadric surface, I state the types of horizontal and vertical traces as well as the axis of symmetry.
